Central Research Institute of Homoeopathy

Momentum Interiors undertook a mission-critical project at CRIH, providing tailored furniture solutions across multiple departments including labs, OPDs, waiting areas, boardrooms, reception, canteen, and the library.

But this wasn’t a standard execution. The challenge? Our work had to continue while the building itself was still under construction. This meant constant adjustments, working around civil activities, and racing against a fixed deadline — as the institute was scheduled for inauguration immediately after handover.

With no room for delays, our team pulled off a heroic effort  executing the full setup before time, often working overnight without electricity. The result: flawless delivery under intense operational constraints.

The Challenge

Executing an interiors project amidst ongoing civil work is like building a plane while it’s still being assembled. Coordination became the cornerstone our teams had to align daily with multiple vendors, site engineers, and government authorities.

Power supply was inconsistent, forcing our team to work overnight without electricity, often relying on backup lights and sheer determination. Material movement was restricted due to active construction zones, demanding creative logistics and time management.

Despite these challenges, the Momentum Interiors team held its ground  ensuring every piece of furniture reached its place flawlessly and on time.

The Solution

We restructured our work strategy entirely:

  • Adaptive scheduling – Installation shifted dynamically to match the progress of civil work.

  • Night operations – To maintain pace and avoid delays, teams worked overnight to meet the deadline.

  • Cross-department coordination – Daily syncs ensured zero overlap or damage amidst parallel construction.

  • Quality-first approach – Every unit was inspected and pre-tested off-site to reduce on-site assembly time.

Through these measures, we turned a potentially chaotic site into a coordinated operation — balancing speed with craftsmanship.

 Furniture Delivered:

  • 18 Tandom Chairs – for the waiting area

  • 19 Storage Units – for medicine rooms, labs, and reception

  • 25 Astro High Back Chairs – for lab incharges and OPD doctors

  • 121 Astro Mid Back Chairs – across labs, OPD, reception, and medicine rooms

  • 40 Medium Back Chairs – for meeting and board rooms

  • 18 Café Chairs – for the canteen

  • 4 Library Tables – for the research library

Outcome:
Despite unpredictable on-site conditions, night operations, and lack of electricity, Momentum Interiors delivered the project with zero compromise on quality or timeline. The CRIH facility was handed over fully furnished and functional, well in advance of its scheduled inauguration  making it a project we take immense pride in.
